Sam Nombe registered two assists for Oxford City during their 4-2 win over their Hampton and Richmond Borough counterparts on Saturday afternoon.
The 19-year-old was once again handed a start, this time occupying the left-wing for Oxford City.
It took just three minutes for The Nomads to take the lead with Zac McEachran opening the scoring with his driven strike finding the bottom corner.
With a handful of chances going astray, it was Oxford City who grabbed the next goal in the game – with Nombe playing a vital role on the move.
Having picked up the ball on the left, Nombe then jinxed past his man before delivering a perfect cross towards Kabongo Tshimanga who tapped home from close range.
On the stroke of half-time, Joe Oastler made is 3-0 and seemingly put the game beyond Hampton and Richmond Borough’s reach.
Nombe was once again involved for Oxford’s fourth of the afternoon with his cross finding Kyran Wiltshire who found the back of the net.
The win sees Oxford City climb to 17th in the National League South table – they are back in action next weekend against Tranmere Rovers in the Emirates FA Cup – a tie Nombe is eligible for.
