It’s been a busy week for the MK Dons Academy with tournaments and festivals aplenty – find out what’s been happening down at Stadium MK.
The Under-16s visited Derby County’s training ground for a four-team tournament against Derby, Leyton Orient and Plymouth Argyle.
Each team played each other once with the top two sides playing each other in a final. The young Dons missed out on that final after Derby netted a late goal in their final group game.
They would then beat Plymouth Argyle 2-1 in a third vs. fourth place playoff.
The Under-15s meanwhile, were involved in a three-team festival at Crystal Palace with Watford the third side competing. The outing proved to be invaluable for the Under-15s as they came up against two Cat 2 Academies.
Finally, MK Dons Under-11s and Under-10s make the short journey to Hertfordshire University where they faced off against Arsenal Girls Under-12s.
