All you need to know ahead of tonight’s Berks and Bucks FA County Senior Cup Final…

MK Dons face Chesham United at Stadium MK later this evening to decide the winner of the 2017/18 Berks and Bucks FA County Senior Cup.

Edu Rubio's side welcome Chesham United to Stadium MK later today, although, the Dons will be classed as the away side for the purpose of the competition.

Rubio's side overcame Slough Town in the Semi-Final to reach this stage, while Chesham ran out 2-0 winners over Woodley United.

A win for the Dons will them lift the Berks and Bucks County Senior Cup for the first time since 2007.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm.

Chesham United currently play their football in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier League Premier Division – level seven on the football pyramid. They currently sit eighth in the table having taken 74 points from their 46 games and have scored an impressive 85 goals over the course of their league campaign.

Lewis Toomey will be the danger man for the Generals with the forward scoring 17 goals this season. Elsewhere, Shane Bush has netted on 12 occasions, while Oran Swales also has seven goals to his name.

MK Dons secured their place in the Berks and Bucks FA County Senior Cup Final courtesy of a 4-1 victory over Slough Town at Arbour Park.

All four of the Dons' goals were scored in the first half, including Brandon Thomas-Asante's half an hour hat-trick. Giorgio Rasulo scored their fourth and final goal prior to the interval.
Chesham, meanwhile, advanced to the final of the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup with their win over Woodley United.

Dave Pearce opened the scoring in the first-half as he fired home to Chesham the lead before minutes after the restart Jhai Dhillon doubled their lead.

Rubio's squad is set to include a mixture of first-team players and Under-18s, as has been the case previously with the Under-23s.

Aidan Nesbitt and Conor McGrandles are among the professionals who have featured in recent Under-23s fixtures while the likes of Giorgio Rasulo and Oran Jackson have been regulars this season.

There will be no Ben Tilney or Sam Nombe in tonight's clash as they are both cup-tied, while Brandon Thomas-Asante is nursing an injury.

 

Entry to tonight's tie is priced at £8 adults, £5 seniors, and £1 for Under-18s. Seating will be reserved, with tickets being sold on a block-by-block basis.

Tickets will be available to buy right up until kick-off. Tickets will remain on sale online until 5pm on the day of the game.
