Ladies move to within one point of title with 1-0 win

Win over Stevenage leaves the Ladies with one hand on the title…

17 May 2018

MK Dons Ladies continued their remarkable run in 2018 as they recorded their 10th consecutive win to move within one point of securing Women’s South East Division 1 title.

The Ladies entered the clash after an impressive 16-1 win over Haringey Borough Women, however, they had to display a different side to their game in order to get the job done.

It took until the 70th minute for the deadlock to be broken as Leah Cudone found the winning goal to secure all three points at Stadium MK.

A late flurry of corners were defended by James Honeyman’s side before the final whistle blew sending relief throughout the team and those in attendance.

The Ladies will face Haringey Borough Women in their final game of the season this Sunday as they look to win the title and gain promotion in the process.
