Ladies looking for 10 in a row

MK Dons Ladies looking to secure a tenth consecutive win this Wednesday…

15 May 2018

MK Dons Ladies take to the Stadium MK turf this Wednesday evening as they go in search of their tenth straight win.

It's safe to say that James Honeyman's side have had a remarkable 2018, after a 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town Ladies back in November their promotion hopes were looking bleak.

Honeyman set his side the task of winning 11 straight games as he refused to give up hope of finishing top of the table – his side responded in some fashion.

In January they overcame Leyton Orient Ladies before recording 1-0 wins over both Ipswich Town Ladies and AFC Wimbledon Ladies in March.

April saw the Ladies boost their goal difference as they saw off Enfield Town Ladies and Leyton Orient Ladies 5-1 and 6-2 respectively.

A congested fixture list looked to have caused Honeyman's Ladies a problem as they were set to play four games in just 11 days, however, they once again showed their spirit by winning all four.

More recently they saw off Haringey Borough Women 16-1 to leave their promotion ambitions within their own hands.

Now, they return to Stadium MK on Wednesday evening as they look to overcome Stevenage Ladies. Kick-off is 7.45pm.

Tickets are priced at £5 adults and £3 concessions while under-16s can attend for FREE. Tickets can be purchased at the gates on the day of the game. Gates open from 6.45pm.
