MK Dons have retained the services of one Academy graduate and are in discussions with further two about extending their futures in Milton Keynes.
The Club has exercised the 12-month option in striker Sam Nombe’s contract keeping him at Stadium MK until at least June 2019.
Nombe, who has been at the Club since he was an Under-11, has certainly had a memorable season. The striker netted nine times in 12 games for the Under-23s, while he also enjoyed a loan spell at Oxford City scoring six goals in nine appearances for The City.
In August 2017, the 19-year-old made his professional debut in the Carabao Cup win over Forest Green Rovers before just four days later replacing Robbie Muirhead for his Sky Bet League One debut away to Blackpool.
The powerful striker has featured 12 times for the first team this season, including the final day victory over Shrewsbury Town.
Meanwhile, defender Oran Jackson, whose contract is set to expire in June, has been offered a new deal.
Jackson, who has been with the Club since the age of nine, made his senior debut against Nottingham Forest back in 2016.
The ball-playing centre-back has been a stalwart for the Under-23s this campaign as he helped guide them to two Cup Final while donning the armband.
After Finn Tapp signed his first professional contract earlier in the week the Club can also confirm Liam Sole has also been offered a first professional deal.
