Academy graduate named in Gareth Southgate’s 23-man squad…

16 May 2018

MK Dons Academy graduate Dele has been named in England’s 23-man squad ahead of this summer’s FIFA World Cup.

Dele, who made his senior debut in the Dons' FA Cup tie against Cambridge City back in November 2012, scored 24 goals in 88 appearances for the Club after progressing through the Academy set-up at Stadium MK.

He became the first MK Dons Academy graduate to feature at a major tournament after playing a part in England’s Euro 2016 opener against Russia before also featuring against Wales, Slovakia and Iceland throughout the tournament.

The flamboyant midfielder currently has 23 England caps and two goals to his name - a tally he’ll be looking to improve upon this summer.

Everyone at the Club would like to congratulate Dele on this fantastic achievement.
