Stadium MK hosts NCS Stadium match...

Two of our MK Dons Sport and Education Trusts' schools, St Thomas More and Rushmoor were involved in the SET's first NCS stadium game. Both Year 10 groups got the chance to play at Stadium MK, found out more about NCS and how they can get involved in next year's programme.

Our BTEC group have been preparing for a busy week ahead with an exam on Monday and fixture being played at Stadium MK next week against Luton. Good luck boys!

Health, Wellbeing and Social Inclusion Update...

On Friday 25th May, two teams from the SET's Premier League Kicks program will travel to Kenilworth Road, Luton to participate in a Premier League Kicks tournament arranged by Luton Town Football Club.

The project which has been running since September 2016 aims to engage young people (aged 8-19) in areas of deprivation through football and reduce anti-social behaviour. The SET have been delivering weekly sessions on a Friday evening at Milton Keynes Academy. This will be their second tournament this year having already participated in the Kicks National Cup last month.

Sports Development Tournament held at Stadium MK...

Last week saw the start the SET's Community week at Stadium MK. On Thursday they held their annual Leighton Buzzard schools cup where 200 children attended representing their schools.

On the Friday it was the turn of Milton Keynes to take part. With 24 schools and 240 children participating it was a fantastic occasion to celebrate what has been a really positive year for school sport in MK.

Congratulation to both winners, Southcott Lower School and Priory Rise.
