Sam Nombe started for Oxford City as they lost 2-0 at home to promotion hopefuls Dartford on Saturday afternoon.
Nombe completed the full 90 minutes as Dartford scored in either half to condemn Oxford to defeat.
The academy graduate was a threat to Dartford’s defence creating a handful of chances, however, the Tunnellers’ defence stood firm throughout on a frustrating afternoon for Nombe.
Meanwhile, in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier League, Hugo Logan was an unused substitute as Hitchin Town returned to winning ways with an emphatic 4-0 win over Dunstable Town.
Logan will be looking to feature in for Hitchin in Tuesday’s clash with Stratford, while Nombe’s Oxford City are back in action on Good Friday when they travel to Braintree.
