Kieran confident goals will come

Striker talks exclusively to REDDOT...

Kieran Agard remains confident that he and MK Dons can get back amongst the goals during the run-in.

Agard has found the net seven times this season but will want to add to that total between now and the end of the campaign to help the Dons secure their Sky Bet League One status.

Speaking to REDDOT ahead of Tuesday’s fixture with Rotherham United, the striker spoke of his belief that the goals will soon begin to flow so long as the both he and his teammates continue to work hard behind-the-scenes.

“It’s been frustrating [this season] but I know I can score goals,” he said. “I’ve scored goals throughout my whole career and I always believe that I can score.

“Strikers and teams go through these kinds of spells in football – you just need to remain focused, stay confident and keep working hard on the training pitch.

“When you hit the back of the net, it’s incredible – all the hard work that you’ve put in during training and everything that you’ve worked on goes into that goal. You can see with all my celebrations that I celebrate like every goal is my first because I take pride in goal scoring.

“We have got a lot of big games coming up and I relish the opportunity to get more games and get more opportunities to score goals to help the team – that’s the main thing.”

Read more from Agard in Tuesday’s edition of REDDOT, which will be available from sellers around Stadium MK and the Box Office at a price of £3.
