MK Dons would like to thank those supporters who turned up early on Saturday and worked tirelessly to clear the snow from the aisles and seating areas in order to allow the Sky Bet League One fixture with Bristol Rovers to take place.
Over 50 supporters arrived at Stadium MK from as early as 9am, and along with MK Dons staff, and directors cleared all the seats and aisles of snow and ice.
It was disappointing that such an outstanding collective effort was not rewarded with a win, but those who contributed should be very proud of what was achieved to ensure that all our supporters and staff were able to enter and leave the stadium safely.
We must also thank the ground staff for their work to make the pitch playable and to the stadium maintenance team who worked throughout the whole day contending with and fixing a number of weather-related challenges.
