mkdons.com lists a number of things you may not know about new signing Jordan Moore-Taylor...

Trust with Tisdale

It’s fair to say that Paul Tisdale and Jordan Moore-Taylor know each other like the back of their hands.

The 24-year-old was handed his Exeter City debut by Tisdale against Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup back in 2012 aged just 18. That season, he made seven Sky Bet League Two appearances and also featured in the Checkatrade Trophy.

Tisdale continued to show his faith in the young defender, handing him 31 first-team appearances the following year.

In total, he’s featured 184 times for the Devonshire Club and now joins his former manager at Stadium MK.

Goals from defence

Despite being a defender, Moore-Taylor certainly has an eye for goal having found the net 11 times during his young career. His first goal came in April 2014 during Exeter’s 1-1 draw with Cheltenham Town, while in the 2014/15 season he added two more career goals to his tally.

The 2016/17 season saw Moore-Taylor record his most prolific season as he contributed five goals over the course of the campaign.

More recently, the defender scored two goals during Exeter’s 2017/18 season, including a delightful free-kick against Cheltenham Town.

Businessman

The Dons latest recruit isn’t just a footballer – he’s also dipped his toe into the world of business.

Moore-Taylor plays an important role in the running of Exeter-based Company ‘Green My Business.’ The company provides biodegradable solutions, materials and good for businesses looking to protect the environment.

The new Dons signing has helped build the company’s brand via his contacts and takes time out to help in the community.

Leadership Qualities

Throughout their time together at Exeter City, Paul Tisdale handed the armband to Moore-Taylor a number of times. The commanding centre-half is a natural born leader and his experience in that role will only benefit the Dons heading into the new campaign.

Moore-Taylor was named Exeter captain midway through the 2015/16 season, before leading Exeter City out on the Wembley turf during his first full campaign as skipper.
