MK Dons have been drawn in Southern Group H in this season’s Checkatrade Trophy.
Paul Tisdale’s men are joined in the group by Luton Town and Peterborough United with the fourth team to be an invited club - to be confirmed at 1pm on Wednesday 18th July.
The invited club will be one of Arsenal U21, Brighton & Hove Albion U21, Chelsea U21, Fulham U21, Southampton U21, Swansea City U21, Tottenham Hotspur U21 or West Ham United U21.
MK Dons will play two of their three matches at home in the Group Stages.
The format for this year’s competition is much the same as 2017/18, with only a couple of small changes to the Regulations.
Players from EFL Clubs who are out on loan in the National League and below are now eligible to feature in the competition, while invited teams have been restricted to fielding two players over the age of 21 and more than 40 first-team appearances.
