Thomas-Asante looks to the future after extending Dons stay...

29 January 2018

Brandon Thomas-Asante hopes to kick on under new manager Dan Micciche, after putting pen-to-paper on a new contract late last week.

Thomas-Asante has extended his stay with MK Dons until June 2019 and now, playing under a manager that he knows from his days in the Academy, the lively forward hopes to show what he’s capable of.

“I’m so excited to get things sorted and have put pen to paper,” he told iFollow MK Dons after finalising the deal. “It’s been a few weeks but I just couldn’t wait to get things signed so I could carry on at this Football Club.

“I’m enjoying it here – this is my home and I love playing in front of the fans. I couldn’t have asked for anything better [having Dan Micciche as manager] – in the game that I got signed for the Academy, he was the one there to facilitate it.”

He continued: “I’m thankful to everyone for their support so far. Now, I can’t wait to show them what I’m capable of.

“I’m 19 now so I really want to push on and see what I can do here. I still feel like I can do more and I’m not going to stop until I do.”
