MK Dons fell to their fifth consecutive Sky Bet League One defeat on Saturday as Charlton ran out 2-1 winners at Stadium MK.
Ahmed Kashi gave the visitors the lead before Josh Magennis headed home in the second-half to double their advantage.
Dan Micciche’s side found a way back into the game in the second-half via the head of Kieran Agard – who netted his fifth league goal in the process.
The striker, however, says picking up three points is the only thing on his mind at this present moment.
“I would trade in the goal for a win,” Agard told iFollow MK Dons.
“I’m always confident that I’ll score goals – hopefully, I can take that into Wednesday. As a striker, you can go a few games without a goal but you have to keep getting into the right positions.”
Despite sitting six points off safety, Agard believes the men from MK1 are all pulling in the same direction, and are determined to turn the form around.
“We're all rooting for each other. We have the players to do well, so it’s back to the training ground, where we’ll work hard and look forward to the games coming up.
“Everyone's pulling their weight. It's about hard work and we've got to take it from the training ground into games.”
Agard concluded, “We're all working tirelessly but it hasn't quite happened - we're sure a win is just around the corner.”
