Conor keen to continue Stadium MK form

Midfielder speaks to Red Dot ahead of Saturday's clash...

Conor McGrandles has stressed the importance of maintaining the side’s excellent home form.

MK Dons are Sky Bet League Two’s top home team so far this season, having picked up 27 points from their 11 matches at Stadium MK this season, without tasting defeat.

They will put that record to the test at the weekend when they welcome third-placed Colchester United to Milton Keynes but McGrandles is hopeful the team can maintain their good performance.

“No matter who you are, home form is vital if you want to be successful,” he told this Saturday’s edition of Red Dot - MK Dons’ matchday programme.

“We’ve started really well at home, despite having played some good teams. It’ll be a hard game today against Colchester United on Saturday because they are a very good side but everyone is playing well and we are full of confidence.”

McGrandles will be looking to make his third straight start on Saturday, four months removed from the serious eye injury he suffered in the opening-day win over Oldham Athletic.

“I’m really grateful for everything that everyone involved has done for me. I was close to damaging my vision for good so, in the grand scheme of things, I’m very lucky.”

Read more from McGrandles in Saturday’s edition of Red Dot which will be available to buy from sellers around the ground and the Club Superstore at a price of £3.
