Mkdons.com lists a number of things you may not know about defender Baily Cargill.

England Youth International
Having spent the formative years of his career by the coast with Southampton and Bournemouth respectively – Cargill earned his first international call-up in November 2014 – as he was named in England's U20 squad for fixtures against Portugal and Canada. He started the game against the latter and capped a dream debut by scoring his first international goal.

Cargill would make a total of seven appearances for England Under-20s – while he also represented the Three Lions at the 2015 Toulon Tournament.

Dream Debut
Making your debut is a special moment for any player – even more so when it's at Old Trafford. In 2017, Cargill made his Premier League bow four Bournemouth during their 1-1 draw with Manchester United. The defender replaced Tyrone Mings in the 78th minute of the game and had the difficult task of marking a certain Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Options along the back line
Although traditionally a central defender, Cargill arrives at Stadium MK and brings versatility along the back line with him. Throughout his career, Cargill has operated both as a left-back and a right-back – experience that will no doubt be utilised by Paul Tisdale over the course of the season.

Humble Beginnings
While progressing through the youth ranks at the Vitality Stadium, Cargill got his first taste of football during a loan spell AFC Totton – he also spent time on loan with fellow Non-League sides Welling United and Torquay United. Reflecting on his time in the lower leagues, Cargill stated that AFC Totton helped him become to the player he is today, while his time at Welling United helped him with his confidence.
