Hugo Logan was on the scoresheet for Hitchin Town in their dominant victory over Frome Town.

Logan netted the fifth and final goal of a 5-1 triumph, latching onto a pass from teammate Kevin Bryne before skipping into the area and slotting past the Frome goalkeeper.

The midfielder has featured six times since moving to Top Field on loan in February. He will look to add to that total this weekend when Hitchin travel to Kettering Town.

Elsewhere, Sam Nombe played a part in both of Oxford City’s goals in their 2-1 win over Eastbourne Borough.

It was from the striker’s low cross that Matt Pickering turned into his own net for the opening goal of the game.

Just three minutes later, Nombe fed a ball through for Reece Fleet who was brought down in the penalty area. Matt Paterson converted from the spot to double City’s lead.

Nombe & Co are now five points adrift of mid-table in the National League South – a gap they will be looking to close when they take on Wealdstone this Wednesday evening.
