MK Dons’ young player Ryan Holmes has been called up to represent Wales Under-14s this week.
Ryan, who recently took part in two Wales training camps, will link up with his national side ahead of a fixture on Thursday night against Newport County FC, which will take place at Dragon Park in Newport.
Interim Academy Manager Simon Dwight told mkdons.com: “This is a great honour for Ryan and his family. We are proud to support Ryan in this exciting development.
“He has shown that he is able to train and prepare for competition at the international level by attending two camps with the Wales squad over recent weeks.”
Next Monday, Ryan’s older brother James will travel to Dragon Park to join up with Wales Under-16s for a two day Training Camp.
The young striker, who made his debut for Wales in a friendly tournament in Greece earlier this year, will spend two days with the squad in Newport.
