The Academy has been working with the first-team management in recent weeks to decide the futures of the Under-18s players who are approaching the end of their Apprenticeship.

Brad Bell, Joe Evans, Tommy Hope and Nathan Pickworth have not been offered professional contracts and will leave the Club at the end of the campaign, while decisions on the futures of Liam Sole and Finn Tapp have been deferred.

David Kasumu was offered a first professional contract in December 2017 and will join up with the first-team next season. He will be joined by first-year scholar Dylan Asonganyi, who also penned professional terms with the Football Club in December.

The players will continue to represent the Academy in the EFL Youth Alliance League Merit competition and be available for the Under-23s squad over the coming weeks.

The Academy would like to thank all players for their dedication and hard work throughout the last two years, which culminated with winning the EFL Youth Alliance League South East title and reaching the Fourth Round of the FA Youth Cup for the first time in the Club’s history.
