Dons players visit the local community...

David Kasumu and Liam Sole helped support Sports Development football sessions last Wednesday. Kasumu attended Southwood's after school football club while Sole visited an MK Dons Skills Centre at Woughton on the Green.

It was a fantastic opportunity for participants to meet an MK Dons footballer and they were even given the chance to play against the players in small sided games.

A big thank you to both the players for coming down and giving participants an experience they will never forget.

Health, Inclusion and Education Update...

One of the participants from the SET's Building Better Opportunities Support into Employment project has just gained employment. When they started work with him, he had multiple issues and self-esteem problems verging on paranoia. The first part of their work with him focused on increasing confidence and, once they had done this, the SET were able to concentrate on the work skills he needed to give him more chance of employment.

The individual contacted the SET this week and has offered to make a donation towards the SET's work.

Ladies regain cup with an emphatic win...

MK Dons Ladies regained the county cup with a 7-0 win over Maidenhead United Ladies at stadium MK. A tight affair in the first half, but with six second-half goals the ladies cruised to victory with great style.

There were 6 different scorers on the day with Alice Hughes, Laura Mills, Anna Loftus x2, Amy Gooderham and Hev McDonnell all getting in on the act. What is even more pleasing to see is three of the goals being scored by girls who have come through the Club's youth ranks.
