Ed Upson has been named in the EFL Team of the Week following his two-goal display in Saturday’s thrilling draw with Oldham Athletic.
Upson was the catalyst behind the Dons’ superb comeback at Stadium MK, scoring a terrific free-kick to initially half the deficit to 3-2 before forcing home a dramatic late equaliser to earn his side, who trailed 4-2 with eight minutes remaining, a share of the spoils.
The midfielder, who has three goals and three assists to his name this season, features in the EFL Team of the Week for the second time as a Dons player – he was included in the XI back in November 2016 after scoring a brace in the 2-1 victory over Coventry City.
Upson is the third Dons player to be recognised in the EFL Team of the Week this season, along with Gboly Ariyibi (Rochdale) and Ethan Ebanks-Landell (Bury).
