Callum Brittain made his debut for England in the Under-20s’ 5-1 win over Italy.
The full-back played the full 90 minutes and made quite an impact in Gorgonzola on Thursday evening, setting up two goals en route to the resounding success.
Brittain & Co will now fly back to England ahead of the Young Lions’ clash with Czech Republic at St. George’s Park on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old has made eight first-team appearances for the Dons so far this campaign and scored his first senior goal in the 1-1 draw with Oxford United.
He is one of three new faces in the England Under-20s squad, which also includes former Dons loanee Harvey Barnes, who is now on loan at Barnsley from Leicester City.
