Dons to remember on Saturday

Robbie Neilson's men to wear poppies on their shirts against Fleetwood Town...

10 November 2017

MK Dons will be marking Remembrance Day with a one minutes’ silence before Saturday’s Sky Bet League One fixture with Fleetwood Town.

Prior to kick-off, Pete Winkelman and Fleetwood Town Chairman Andy Pilley will both lay a wreath. This will then be followed by an exhortation being read and the Last Post being played by Lance Corporal David Wilson.

A one minute silence will then start and end with the referee’s whistle, as a tribute to all those members of the armed forces who have given and continue to give so much to our country in the existence of two World Wars and many other conflicts through the years, and to all those that have made the ultimate sacrifice.

We will remember them.
