Jackson's Tudors concede late equaliser

6 March 2017

Oran Jackson and Hemel Hempstead Town came within a whisker of an impressive victory over National League South play-off hopefuls Chelmsford City at the weekend.

After a goalless first-half at Vauxhall Road, the Tudors opened the scoring through Jordan Parkes’ 63rd-minute penalty but they were pegged back less than 60 seconds later when Chris Dickson equalised for the Clarets.

Parkes put Hemel back in front with less than eight minutes remaining but the Hertfordshire outfit weren’t able to hold onto the three points, conceding a superb 92nd-minute volley from Dickson.

Dons defender Jackson played the majority of the second half for the Tudors, who remain ninth in the National League South table, 11 points adrift of the play-off places.

Next up for Hemel is a trip to mid-table Bath City on Saturday.
