Boss provides Chuks update

2 March 2017

Robbie Neilson expects Chuks Aneke to miss Saturday’s game due to the injury he sustained against Bradford City but is hopeful the forward will be back sooner rather than later.

Aneke limped off with a hamstring problem just 10 minutes after coming on as a substitute in Tuesday’s draw at the Northern Commercials Stadium.

The injury looks set to keep the 23-year-old out of this weekend’s clash with Millwall but Neilson is optimistic that Aneke won’t be out of action for the long-term.

“He’s better than expected,” Neilson told the media.

“I don’t think he’ll make it for the weekend because there’s still a little bit of pain but we don’t expect him to be a longer-term absentee.”

“I think initially, because he’s had a long-term injury, he was worried that it was something really bad and that showed in his reaction. , visit the Box Office or call 0333 200 5343. Tickets will be available from the Club until 5pm on Friday.here To book tickets and travel click
