Joe Walsh has been included in the Wales squad ahead of their World Cup qualifier with Serbia this weekend.

The defender, who recently returned from a Wales training camp in Portugal, has been selected by Chris Coleman along with 22 others to travel to Belgrade for Sunday’s match.

Walsh is one of five uncapped players included the squad, along with Tom Lockyer (Bristol Rovers), Gethin Jones (Everton), Lee Evans (Wolverhampton Wanderers) and Liverpool forward Ben Woodburn.

Wales are without Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale and Aston Villa defender Neil Taylor due to suspensions.

The qualifier takes place this Sunday evening at the Crvena Zvezda Stadium – kick-off 7.45pm. There is live coverage on Sky Sports 1 for Dons supporters who wish to tune in.
