Joe Walsh was in the Wales squad for their World Cup qualifier against Serbia.

The Dons defender was an unused substitute in Sunday’s match, which ended all-square after Aleksandar Mitrovic cancelled out Aaron Ramsey’s first-half opener.

The 1-1 draw leaves Wales four points adrift of both Group D leaders Serbia and second-place Republic of Ireland, with four games remaining in the qualifying campaign. Only the group winners automatically progress to next summer’s World Cup, while the top eight runners-up will go through to a play-off.

Next up for Walsh & Co, is an important home qualifier against Austria in September.
