George Baldock is fit and raring to go again – and his first game back could see him come up against his brother!
“I’m feeling good, I’ve trained all week,” he told MK Dons PlayerHD. “I feel strong – I’ve done a lot of work with Si (Crampton) and Ads (Ross) so I’m looking forward to getting back involved.
“It came at a frustrating time because I felt we were turning a corner at that point – I obviously wanted to be a part of that but the boys have shown good spirit.”
He added: “I can’t wait – it’s a great stadium and I’ve been to watch my brother a few times. It’s a funny situation coming up against my brother, playing on the same pitch! I’m not sure what team they’ll play but all their players are Championship level minimum.
“I can tell you bits about Brighton but whether we can stop them, that’s different. We’ll be doing all we can though!”
However, the 23-year-old has belief that he and his team-mates could cause an upset against the Sky Bet Championship league leaders.
He said: “Anything is possible – we go there with confidence that we can win the game. It will be a tough test but it’s one we are all looking forward to.”
