Chairman’s call for MK to come together

18 January 2017

Pete Winkelman hopes the community will come together and celebrate Milton Keynes’ 50th birthday at the Club’s Gift of Football event in February.

To mark the city’s 50th anniversary, chairman Winkelman has given anyone with an MK postcode the chance to claim a FREE ticket to MK Dons’ Sky Bet League One clash with Bolton Wanderers on Saturday 4th February. Kick-off 3pm.

Winkelman said: “I love Milton Keynes. It’s somewhere easy to call home and it’s somewhere I’m proud to call my home. It’s a place where dreams can happen and I don’t think there is any place like it, so we wanted to do something very special to mark this anniversary.

“The people of Milton Keynes have shown me so much support over the years and I wanted to give everyone a gift that would celebrate MK50.  The Gift of Football is a great opportunity for Milton Keynes to come together to celebrate this milestone, as well as a chance to experience Stadium MK if they haven’t done so already.

“It’s going to be a real celebratory day – we’ll be wearing a special kit, hopefully the stadium will be as full as possible and I think it’s going to be a great game as well.

“It’s something for everyone to look forward to.”

The Gift of Football is an offer available for all residents with an MK postcode, who can redeem a FREE ticket to MK Dons’ Sky Bet League One clash with Bolton Wanderers on Saturday 4th February. Kick-off 3pm.

All MK Dons Season Ticket holders and Club Dons members outside of the MK postcode area are also able to claim a free ticket to give to a friend/family member.

Tickets can be redeemed by visiting the MK Dons Box Office at Stadium MK and at centre:mk.
