Robbie Neilson is aiming to bolster his squad before the close of the January transfer window.
Neilson snapped up Belgium Under-21international striker Maecky Ngombo on Monday to add to the arrivals of Robbie Muirhead and loanee Harvey Barnes but the Dons boss hopes to recruit further, ahead of the11pm deadline.
“We’re still looking to recruit,” Neilson said. “We’re pushing and pushing – the last week has been unbelievably busy, trying to get things going.
“A lot of moves, for every team, will be last minute because there’s a full card in the Premier League and the Championship. There will be a lot of teams getting deals done over the line at quarter past 10.
“We’re trying to get one player whose team want to keep him until after their game on Tuesday night – that makes it difficult to get over the line but I’m hopeful of getting it done.”
