Saturday’s game saw both of MK Dons’ deadline signings make their first appearances and Robbie Neilson was full of praise for his debut duo.
“I think they did really well,” Neilson said.
“Stuart gave us energy and got involved for the first goal.
“As soon as (Ngombo) came on he got the ball and he had people on the back foot, with his step-overs and his confidence to go at people.”
“He's playing really well at the moment. His movement and finishing has been really good and he's been getting into good areas.
The Dons boss also reserved a mention for his top goalscorer Kieran Agard, whose second-half strike extended his scoring streak to three games.
