George Baldock was once a fans favourite at the Kassam Stadium but the right-back will be visiting the ground tomorrow as an MK Dons player, eager to take all three points back to Stadium MK.
“I had a really good time there and it’s a club I’ll always keep an eye out for,” Baldock told MK Dons PlayerHD.
“It’ll be nice to see a few familiar faces but my sole focus is to go there and get a good result for MK Dons.”
“This will be a tough game, though.”
“That game against Peterborough was great. To score four goals away from home is always good and to keep a clean sheet of course is too.
The Dons too will fancy their chances and they go into this weekend’s match looking to build off their last away performance – the 4-0 thrashing over play-off hopefuls Peterborough United at the ABAX Stadium.
“They’ll fancy their chances because they are a very attacking team – I think it’ll be an attack-minded game.”
“They’ve got a lot of technically-gifted players and they have good pace in wide areas so they will be constant threat
“It’ll be a really good encounter. Oxford have had a really good run and they’ll be buzzing after a good derby result.
The U’s have enjoyed a strong start to life back in third tier and they currently sit six points adrift of the play-off places in Sky Bet League One with a game in hand – Baldock is expecting a tough afternoon against his former side. Tickets for the clash with Oxford United can be bought at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday, cash only - tickets are priced at £21 adults, £15 seniors, £14 under-22s/students, £12 under-18s, £8 under-13s and £5 under-7s.
