AFC Wimbledon tickets - FAQs

18 February 2017

Your frequently asked questions ahead of the Sky Bet League One fixture at AFC Wimbledon in March...

How many tickets have MK Dons been allocated for supporters to purchase?
600 standing tickets.

Where are we going to be located in the ground?
The allocation of our tickets is opposite the Main Stand and directly behind the away dug-out.

Is there a priority order of selling tickets?
Yes, there are five priority categories – these are detailed clearly in the website ticket and travel story.

How was this policy agreed?
The policy was finalised after consultation with the Club’s Away Ticketing Group and is in line with the terms set out in the Club’s Supporter Charter.

I’m not a Season Ticket holder or Member and I haven’t been to an away MK Dons game before but can I attend the match?
No, tickets will not go on general sale. Only supporters who match the criteria detailed in the initial ticket and travel story will have the chance to attend. If you have purchased tickets home or away before then you can attend the live beamback of the game at Stadium MK.

When will I get my match ticket?
Your coach ticket will be given to you at the point of purchase. Your match ticket will only be given to you once you board the coach at one of the three locations. Checks will be in place upon arrival and anybody who has purchased an age-related ticket will be asked for proof when entering the ground. Failure to do so will result in the full adult price being charged.

Can I buy tickets for family/friends?
You can for those who meet the criteria and upon production of their Season Ticket/Club Dons member card. Tickets cannot be purchased for family/friends who do not meet the criteria.

How do we travel to the ground?
All MK Dons fans attending the fixture will need to travel to the ground via official coaches. There are three departure locations.

Where will the coaches depart from?
Stadium MK, Aylesbury and a location inside the M25. Each coach will have at least one member of the MK Dons stewarding team on board.

Can I return to a different location from my departure point?
The Club should be able to arrange this and will do all they can to assist with your request – highlight your desired requirements when you visit the Box Office/centre:mk or call 0333 200 5343.

What measures are in place to ensure safe entry and exit from the stadium?
From the moment you arrive, you will be given an escort directly into the away end. Away fans are expected to be held in the stadium for a short time after the final whistle before being escorted back to their designated coach.

Will we be searched?
Searches will take place before boarding coaches and at the Cherry Red Records Stadium. This is in the interests of the safety of all supporters.

Will alcohol be served to away fans at the Cherry Red Records Stadium?
Away fans will not be able to buy alcohol at the ground, nor will they be able to take alcohol on the coaches.

Who will be able to attend the beamback in the Arena at Stadium MK?
Any supporter on the Club database with a previous ticketing history. These will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. They can be purchased directly from the Box Office at Stadium MK/centre:mk kiosk or by telephone, but will not be available to purchase online.

Will the beamback have commentary?
Commentary will be provided. The footage will be provided by ADI, who provide Channel 5 with their coverage. It will be one camera coverage with no action replays.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Box Office.
