MK Dons is delighted to announce that their new Under-23s side will be powered by the UK’s fastest growing independent energy supplier.

The Club and Utilita will work closely together to deliver a range of activities in the local community, while supporters who switch to the company will receive a £25 voucher to use in the Superstore at Stadium MK.

Utilita has a customer base of over 550,000 people and recently reached a million supply points across the UK.

Jem Maidment, Head of Marketing & Communications at Utilita, said: “I am delighted to grow and strengthen our partnership with MK Dons, particularly now with our backing of the Club’s Under-23s side under Edu Rubio.

“We do things differently at Utilita – we are a business with a caring ethos at the heart of everything we do and, as such, we aim to work with the Dons on a variety of projects in the community. The enthusiasm of Edu and his team to make this happen is fantastic.

“Milton Keynes is much like Utilita - relatively young, challenging the status quo, doing things differently to others, but hugely successful and growing extremely quickly.”

Rubio, Senior Phase Development Coach at MK Dons, said: “This is very important for the Football Club, not just because it will provide some financial support but, by having a powerful company behind us in Utilita, it emphasises highlights the importance of the Under-23s set-up.

“This relationship will act as a mentoring programme for the players as it will provide them with greater commitments away from the field, with meeting and helping local people at the forefront of that. It’s about developing the players on and off the field and this relationship with Utilita will offer a greater opportunity to do just that.

“The two companies share the same values when it comes to the local community, which we will be at the forefront of our relationship. We are looking forward to working together to give something back.”
