Giorgio Rasulo hopes to continue impressing after returning to league action over the Easter weekend.
“I really enjoyed getting out there again and playing,” Rasulo told MK Dons PlayerHD. “I’m glad the manager gave me a chance.
“It’s been difficult (not playing) but I feel I’ve been putting in good performances in training and it’s nice to see that rewarded.”
Rasulo continued: “Hopefully I can get more chance s and whenever I do get those opportunities, it’s all about putting in good performances.”
“It’s a position I enjoy because I get on the ball a lot more,” Rasulo said. “When I’m playing higher up I can make things happen because I’m closer to the goal but I do like it further back too.”
While the former England youth international’s inclusion in the starting XI may have come as a surprise to some, his position in the line-up would have certainly raised a few more eyebrows, with the 19-year-old give a deep-lying midfield role as opposed to a more advanced position.
He continued: “Hopefully I can get more chances and whenever I do get those opportunities, it’s all about putting in good performances.”
