Two of MK Dons’ standout performers this season – George Williams and George Baldock – hope the team can end a rollercoaster 2016/17 campaign on a positive note later this weekend.
“We’ll be looking to finish the season strong,” Williams said.
“This season has been a bit of a rollercoaster, really. We started poorly but we’ve steadied the ship now and we’re ending the season positively.
“Hopefully the supporters can see those positives from the way we’ve been playing and results we’ve been picking up.”
Baldock echoed his namesake’s view: “I looked the other night at how far away from the play-offs we are and it’s only 12 points which shows how good our form has been of late.
“It’s been a disappointing season so to only be 12 points off after a strong second half of the campaign provides optimism that we’ll be in a good position next year to have a right push.”
Tickets for Sunday's season finale with Walsall, which can now only be bought at the Banks's Stadium ahead of kick-off, are priced at £22 adults and £17 seniors/under-18s.
