George C Williams has been called up to the Wales Under-21s squad for their UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifier against Armenia.
The winger is one of 18 players chosen by head coach Geriant Williams for Wales’ final group fixture, which takes place on Tuesday 11th October. Kick-off 7pm BST.
Wales are currently fifth in Group 5 and will need to beat bottom-of-the-table Armenia to have any chance of qualifying for the finals in Poland next year.
Williams will join up with his national side on Tuesday 4th October and will remain with them until Wednesday 12th, meaning he will miss the Dons’ Checkatrade Trophy tie with Peterborough United and the Sky Bet League One fixture against Port Vale at Stadium MK.
He will back at Stadium MK in time for the trip to Scunthorpe United on Saturday 15th.
