Walsh wants Dons to stay upbeat

8 September 2016

Joe Walsh believes its vital MK Dons remain positive as they look to improve on their recent run of results.

The Dons have lost their last two Sky Bet League One fixtures and face a challenging trip to table-toppers Bolton Wanderers this weekend, but centre-back Walsh is confident they can return to winning ways sooner rather than later.

“We’ve just got to stay positive,” he told MK Dons PlayerHD. “It’s still early on in the season – it’s a marathon not a sprint.

“Hopefully we can start winning ways again, against Bolton.”

“As soon as teams go up they put everyone behind the ball and then it’s just hard to break down a team with 11 men behind the ball.”

“For any team, if you concede early goals it’s always going to be hard to get back into it – we have to sort that out.

In order to get back on track, the men from MK1 will need to be more stubborn at the back and stop their recent trend of conceding goals early on. Tickets for Saturday's clash at Bolton are priced from £23 adults, £16 seniors/under-23s and £9 under-18s, while under-18s can attend for just £7.They can now only be bought via Block E of the South Stand at the Macron Stadium - cash only.
