Ryan Colclough and Paul Downing react to MK Dons' 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium...

“The fans know we’re always going to play good football and we’re always going to be, I think, the better team, especially in this league. If we can keep grinding the results out and putting the work in then I think we can climb the table.”
On importance of performing well...

“They are top of the league and they are top of the league for a reason. You’ve got to get points from the teams that are up there because that’s who we’re really fighting against. We’ve got the point and not only have we got the point but we’ve put a great performance and a great shift in. If you look at it, overall we’ve put the work in and we’ve battled. We should have really had the three points.”
On the result...
RYAN COLCLOUGH

“We’ve not been good enough the last couple of (games) and we’ve had to take responsibility for that. Going a goal down again, we showed character. I think generally we’ve been playing well and causing teams problems and we did that again today as well do the basics and defend well. If we continue to do that then our talent will shine through.”
On ending a run of defeats...

“It’s a good point against a strong team. They’ve got some good players and we had to defend at times but I thought we played well and had the better chances. We probably should have gone on to win the game. It was a good performance and we’ll look to bounce back with a win on Saturday.”
On the result...
PAUL DOWNING

“Overall the commitment from the boys was unbelievable. You can’t fault the boys’ efforts. We battled really well and we got the point.”
On team’s character shining through...

“It was a little bit lucky but from what I’ve heard, that’s the luck that we’ve needed. I’ve beaten by man and I’ve seen the keeper’s legs open so I’ve tried to put it through his legs. It’s come back and it’s hit my knee and gone in the back of the net.”
On scoring the equaliser...

“(It will make this point better) if we can get the three points, which we’ll go for, at home. We need to start winning football matches and playing better. They are in good form and they’ll come thinking they can win. There is no easy game in League One so we need to make sure we’re ready, do the basics like we did today and try to win the game.”
On Saturday’s clash with Oxford...

“(Me and Joe Walsh) are getting to know each other now, seven games in. We know we’ve got a good back four with a good mix of experience and youth with Darren Potter in front of us and Dave as well. It’s a good back four and we need to start keeping clean sheets and that will help us win games.”
On back-four partnership...

“We’ve got grow from it now and take confidence and find consistency. We’ll keep working on the training field and make sure we’re on top of our game against Oxford (United).”
On confidence gained as a defence...
