Brandon Thomas-Asante scored twice as MK Dons Under-18s recorded a convincing 5-1 away victory over Dagenham & Redbridge.
Kioso opened the scoring after just eight minutes when he latched onto Bradley Bell’s headed flick-on and volleyed past the Daggers goalkeeper. 0-1.
The hosts equalised just seven minutes later despite Nathan Pickworth’s best efforts in the Dons’ goal but Rubio’s team were able to regain the lead before half-time courtesy of Thomas-Asante’s 31st minute penalty. 1-2.
Newly-turned pro Thomas-Asante grabbed his second goal of the game 20 minutes into the second half, heading home from close-range after Bell had lifted Kioso’s cross over the goalkeeper to the far post. 1-3.
With three minutes remaining the young Dons extended their lead further through Nombe, who found the net with a terrific right-footed strike across goal. 1-4.
Substitute Asonganyi capped off a fine away performance in stoppage time with a neat finish into the bottom left corner after dummying his man inside the area. 1-5.
