Boss calls for positive performance

Karl Robinson wants his MK Dons side to be on the front foot in today’s Sky Bet League One clash with Oxford United.

Robinson’s men go in search of their first home victory this afternoon against a U’s side who are full of confidence following their win over arch-rivals Swindon Town last weekend. Kick-off is at 3pm.

“We want to make sure we got off on the right foot and try to perform right,” Robinson told MK Dons PlayerHD. “If we want to recapture that good vibe, it’s important we perform well here.

“The players are fully focused on the game and it’s about us doing the job on the pitch. The players know their jobs so if they do them properly and work hard then hopefully we can come out on top.”

“Hopefully there’s been an improvement in the group after what we’ve done in training this week. The staff and players can’t do anymore behind-the-scenes – it’s important turning it on this Saturday afternoon.
