Boss' Bury frustrations

28 September 2016

Karl Robinson wasn’t hiding his frustration after MK Dons’ defeat to second-placed Bury.

The Liverpudlian saw his side hit the post twice and denied on a number of occasions by Shakers goalkeeper Ben Williams, as they fell to defeat at Stadium MK.

“I’m on the floor,” Robinson told MK Dons PlayerHD. “I’m on the floor for the players and I’m on the floor for the fans.

“We’re frustrated and disappointed. There was desire and appetite but individual errors are costing us. I don’t think anybody can have a problem with the effort - it comes down to decision-making.”

“When lady luck isn’t on your side you just have to grin and bear it. Now we’ve got to turn our focus to Oldham (Athletic) and we’ve got to go for it, we’ve got to have a right good go.”

“I don’t think anything I say will alleviate the frustrations. I’m sick because this Club means so much too many people and they deserve more than what they are getting.

He continued: “I apologise to the people who came as they were looking forward to a good result and performance on the back of Saturday.

Robinson's Dons will look to bounce back on Saturday when they visit Oldham - tickets are priced at £20 adults, £10 senior/disabled/under-16s and £5 under-12s if bought in advance, while travel is available from £22 with discounts for Season Ticket holders and members.
