Samir after Stadium MK success

7 October 2016

Samir Carruthers is hopeful MK Dons can maintain their winning form this weekend.

Carruthers & Co entertain Port Vale on Sunday at Stadium MK looking to collect their third successive victory, following triumphs at Oldham Athletic and Peterborough United.

If they are to come out on top, it would be the Dons’ first home success this season.

“Having picked up two wins a row we’re going to have some momentum going into the game,” Carruthers told REDDOT.

“If we can just continue to do what we’ve been doing in the last couple of games then I think we’ll be sound.

“I think we’re starting to see the good chemistry in the team – the results in the last two games have started to show that. We’ve played well in recent weeks but there have just been a few results where we’ve been unlucky.”

He continued: “Our home form hasn’t been great recently but I’m sure we’ll turn it around and make this place a fortress again.

“When we’re in form and playing well, Stadium MK is a difficult place to come to.”
