Karl Robinson says he and his players are hurting after Sunday’s defeat to Port Vale.
“I feel sick after that defeat - the players and fans don't deserve it,” said Robinson.
“The players are working their socks off and you have to stick by the players – it's as simple as that.
“I get everybody's frustrations but there's nobody more frustrated than me.
“The players are hurting just as much as anybody going home.”
He added: “If we were getting dominated it's different.
“We did enough to win the game and when teams park the bus it doesn't matter who you are – it's hard.
“It's not dropping for us and the first goal is important and it's another silly one today.”
