Baldock suffers hamstring strain

4 October 2016

Right-back George Baldock is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring strain.

The 23-year-old will be out for a minimum of four weeks with the injury he sustained during the first half of the Dons’ 2-0 win at Oldham Athletic on Saturday.

He was subsequently substituted and replaced by George B Williams.

Meanwhile, Daniel Powell, who has recovered from a thigh injury, is unavailable for Tuesday’s Checkatrade Trophy tie at Peterborough United due to illness but it’s hoped he will return to training later this week.
