MK Dons provided a group from a local charity with a special evening on Tuesday.
This was a deserved reward for their excellent work as part of the residents’ programme at the homeless shelter, which houses approximately 500 people a year through their emergency accommodation project – the only one in Milton Keynes for people aged 16-35.
Fundraising and events manager Tracey Bovingdon: “A big thank you to MK Dons for hosting our group this week, they had a great time and we are very grateful.
“All the residents that were rewarded with a free ticket have all shown a positive attitude and commitment to changing their futures.”
Former goalkeeper Cody Cropper helped The YMCA last year when he dished out meals during the festive period, while he also handed over some clothes during his visit.
