Match-winner Ed in EFL's Team of the Week

29 November 2016

Following his match-winning double in MK Dons’ 2-1 victory over Coventry City, Ed Upson has been named in the EFL’s Team of the Week.

Upson, playing in his 22nd game for the Club, headed home a Dean Lewington cross late in the first-half to give his side Dons the lead at the Ricoh Arena.

He then swept home a rebounded Lewington shot with 10 minutes to play to put the Dons back in front and seal a vital three points - three points which lifts the men from MK1 out of the relegation places in Sky Bet League One.

Upson’s terrific display has not only seen him named among the best XI in the EFL, as he’s also been included in The League Paper’s Sky Bet League One Team of the Day.
