Beating FC Barcelona at stadiummk was ‘the best feeling in the world’ according to MK Dons Under-15s captain Jack Hourican-Harvey.

The young Dons shone in their annual Academy Challenge Match, defeating Barcelona’s Under-15s side 3-0 in front of over 4,100 people.

“It was crazy,” Hourican-Harvey told MK Dons PlayerHD. “When we scored that first goal and heard the roar of the fans – it was an amazing feeling and it just makes me want to do this in the future.

“I’ve sat through three Academy Challenge matches before and I’ve always just wanted to get out there and play. To finally do it and also to beat Barcelona is just great – the best feeling in the world.”

“After about 10 minutes, the nerves eased off and we just get into the game. We believe in our philosophy and we know it works, so that allows us to be confident.”

He continued: “The nerves started to kick in when we were in the tunnel. I’ve never played in front of so many fans as we only normally get about 50 people at Woughton!
