Alex Revell insists the Dons will be out to rectify the last two results this weekend when they take on Queens Park Rangers.
“It’s not what we deserved but this is a punishing league,” Revell told MK Dons PlayerHD. “If you make a mistake in this league you get punished and we’ve realised that now.
“We keep saying we’re going to learn but now it’s about being men. Each game is massive now and to stay in this league we’re going to have to grow up very quickly.
“This week is going to be tough to get over this result but we’ll be ready again on Saturday because that’s the group and manager we’ve got – we’ll be aiming to put right the last two results."
He continued: “We’re in this together – the players, staff and fans. We’ve got a lot of points to play for and if we keep believing and playing like we did in the first half then the results will go our way.”
“We need to get a 90 minute performance. We’ve got to take confidence from the fact we’ve played a team that’s been in the Premier League off the park.”
“I think the first-half displays in the last two games have been outstanding – I don’t think there any many teams who could keep up with us. We’ve played with confidence.
The men from MK1 walked away with just one point from their fixtures against Huddersfield and Blackburn, which frustrates Revell who believed the team’s first-half performances warranted more.
